Sebastjan Šik graduated in Political sciences – international relations and he has an MBA in International Business. He started his career as a journalist. From 2003 to 2007, he was also a correspondent for the Slovenian radio and television public broadcaster from Rome, Italy. In 2007, he joined Luka Koper (port operator in Slovenia), where he managed the public relations department until 2022. For two years he was expanding his competences and gained new experience at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia as director of corporate communication. Recently he returned to Luka Koper as market manager for Austria and Hungary.
